California's American Independent Party is affiliated with the national America's Independent Party. It has been ballot qualified since 1968 and is #3 in the state's registered voters. It is also the fastest growing political party in the state! It is steadfastly right on the issues!
Due to its proximity to the party headquarters, the Capitol and the Secretary of State's office - our county committee plays an active roll in party affairs. State conventions and central committee meetings are held in Sacramento.
Please examine the party platform. If a position is Constitutional, we are for it; if it isn't we and our political candidates are aggressively against it.
If the hyprocacy of the other political parties offends your sensibilities, you many have found a political home!

“In about 1994 I was a member of the central committe. I stopped attending due to family, and I moved away from this area for a while. I would like to see where the party is today and possibly get re-involved.”
